"By 2028, we expect private investment of around 1.5 billion euros and a need for around 3,000 new jobs in Schwarze Pumpe. By 2040, we will also make Lusatia's largest industrial park, which currently employs around 5,000 people in 121 companies, climate-neutral for the future."

In June 2023, the largest single investment in the history of our site was made with the plant for the production of cathode materials for battery production. The prototype plant for battery recycling went into operation in spring 2024. The black mass recycling plant is scheduled for completion in the middle of this year.
